About Captain Mike Gore

Born and raised in Tampa, Capt. Mike developed a passion for fishing as a child. Capt. Mike grew up fishing salt and freshwater with his father Capt. Woody Gore and brother Capt. Mark Gore. Now with over 30 years of fishing experience he does everything possible to create an unforgettable experience on the water.

As an experienced professional, Mike is always willing to teach guests how to improve their angling skills. Whether educating children or beginners his approach is always patient and courteous. However, when guiding seasoned anglers, he understands catching is paramount and does everything possible to locate feeding fish.

A college graduate and Computer Engineer over the past 11 years, Mike learned early on that "Customer Service" is the key to a successful business.

He is a member of the Florida Guides Association and National Association of Charterboat Operators. Capt. Mike is also on the Prostaff for Ranger Boats, Evinrude Engines, Berkley, Minn Kota Trolling Motors, Bob's Machine Shop, and Power Pole.
